Lite Coms, LLC is seeking a strategic and hands-on Quality Manager to lead our Quality Management System and serve as a key member of our operations leadership team. This role is ideal for an experienced quality professional who understands that quality is more than compliance. POSITION SUMMARY

The Quality Manager is responsible for planning, implementing, and maintaining the company’s Quality Management System (QMS), leading continuous improvement initiatives, managing customer quality requirements, and partnering with Operations to improve quality, efficiency, and on-time delivery.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead and maintain the Quality Management System.

• Develop and improve quality procedures, work instructions, and inspection standards.

• Lead root cause investigations and corrective actions.

• Utilize SPC, quality data analysis, Lean, and Six Sigma methodologies.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or related discipline.

• 5+ years of manufacturing quality experience.

• 3+ years of quality leadership experience.

• Experience in regulated manufacturing, defense, electronics, or telecommunications environments.

• Knowledge of quality systems, root cause analysis, SPC, and continuous improvement.

• Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance (U.S. citizenship required).

Position Overview

We are seeking a hands-on Electrical Engineer to design, develop, test, release, improve, and support advanced satellite communication products. This role provides broad exposure across system architecture, hardware design, manufacturing, and product lifecycle engineering with a strong customer-focused mindset.

You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams including mechanical, software, RF, test, and manufacturing engineers to develop new communication systems and continuously improve existing platforms. Engineers in this role have significant ownership and are directly involved in rapidly developing and delivering production-ready hardware — not just prototypes — through fielding and customer support.

This position is ideal for engineers who enjoy solving complex technical problems in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment, working across multiple engineering disciplines, and seeing their designs transition into real-world fielded systems.

Key Responsibilities (Other duties may be assigned)

• Lead electrical and system-level design for satellite communication terminals.

• Architect and develop hardware solutions from concept through product lifecycle support.

• Specify, design, validate, troubleshoot, and support printed circuit boards and electronic subsystems.

• Participate in certification and compliance testing for both commercial and military standards.

Position Overview 

The System Level Assembler C is responsible for the mechanical, electrical, and electromechanical assembly of advanced Satellite Communications (SATCOM) systems at both the system and sub-system level. This role focuses on integrating complex assemblies — including RF components, enclosures, cable harnesses, and electronics — into fully functional SATCOM products in accordance with engineering documentation, quality standards, and production schedules. 

This position requires strong attention to detail, the ability to interpret technical documentation, and hands-on experience working within a regulated manufacturing environment supporting mission-critical communication systems. 

This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on technical work, take pride in quality craftsmanship, and want to contribute directly to the production of advanced SATCOM technologies used in demanding operational environments. 

 

Key Responsibilities (Other duties may be assigned) 

  • Perform system-level assembly of SATCOM products including racks, terminals, antenna subsystems, power units, and electronics enclosures.
  • Assemble and integrate mechanical, electrical, RF, and electromechanical sub-assemblies.
  • Install and route cable harnesses, coaxial cables, waveguides, connectors, and fasteners per engineering drawings and torque specifications.
  • Perform precision assembly using hand tools, torque drivers, crimp tools, and measurement equipment.
  • Interpret and follow engineering drawings, schematics, BOMs, work instructions, and ECNs.
  • Accurately complete manufacturing documentation, travelers, and quality records.
  • Identify and escalate discrepancies, non-conformances, or documentation issues.
  • Collaborate with Quality and Test teams to resolve assembly-related issues.
  • Maintain compliance with ESD, FOD, and workmanship standards including IPC, J-STD, or internal manufacturing standards.

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in system-level assembly within SATCOM, aerospace, defense, telecommunications, or other high-reliability manufacturing environments.
  • Ability to read and interpret complex mechanical and electrical drawings.
  • Experience with cable harness assembly, cable routing, torque specifications, and mechanical fastener installation.
  • Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work with large or complex assemblies.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods during production activities.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to follow structured manufacturing processes while adapting to build variations and evolving production requirements.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
  • U.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance required.

 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Experience assembling SATCOM ground systems, terminals, or antenna systems.
  • Familiarity with RF components including LNAs, BUCs, filters, waveguides, and coaxial systems.
  • IPC-A-610, IPC-WHMA-A-620, or similar manufacturing certifications.
  • Experience working within ISO 9001 or AS9100 manufacturing environments.
  • Basic troubleshooting experience involving electrical or system-level issues.
  • Experience supporting engineering builds, prototype development, or NPI programs.

Position Overview 

The Material Handler plays a critical role in supporting the efficient production of advanced Satellite Communications (SATCOM) systems, components, and assemblies. This position is responsible for receiving, storing, moving, issuing, and tracking materials throughout the manufacturing process to ensure production teams have the right materials at the right time. 

This role supports inventory accuracy, receiving and shipping activities, production material staging, and the movement of raw materials and finished goods throughout the manufacturing environment. The Material Handler will also contribute to Lean Manufacturing, 5S+1, and continuous improvement initiatives that support operational efficiency and on-time delivery. 

This position is ideal for someone who is organized, dependable, detail-oriented, and enjoys working in a hands-on manufacturing environment where material accuracy and timely movement directly impact production and customer delivery. 

Key Responsibilities (Other duties may be assigned) 

  • Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials and components. 
  • Accurately complete inventory and material transactions. 
  • Pick, stage, and replenish materials for production work orders. 
  • Maintain material traceability, labeling, organization, and inventory accuracy. 
  • Conduct cycle counts and support physical inventory activities. 
  • Support receiving, shipping, and warehouse organization. 
  • Prepare and palletize outgoing shipments on a daily and weekly basis.

JOB TITLE: Software Engineer – Embedded Systems & Networking 

DEPARTMENT: Engineering 

REPORTS TO: Lead, Software Engineer 

FLSA STATUS: Exempt  

SALARY RANGE: 70,000-168,000 Plus a bonus plan This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience. 

  

This Position will report to the Lead Software Engineer. The Software Engineer will develop, integrate, test, and support embedded software and networked applications for the Lite Coms family of products and for new product development. The successful candidate will work across embedded Linux, IP networking, device management, user interfaces, cybersecurity, automated test, and hardware/software integration in rugged communications systems. 

  

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Design, develop, integrate, and maintain embedded software and networked applications for Lite Coms and related products. 
  • Configure, troubleshoot, and validate Ethernet and IP networks, including switching, routing, VLANs, DHCP, DNS, NAT, VPNs, firewalls, and secure remote access. 
  • Develop device-management interfaces, APIs, services, scripts, and graphical user interfaces for system configuration, monitoring, logging, and diagnostics. 
  • Integrate software with embedded processors, network appliances, SATCOM terminals, sensors, power systems, and other electromechanical hardware. 
  • Create and execute unit, integration, regression, and system-level test procedures; support automated testing, software release control, field troubleshooting, product launches, and manufacturing test activities. 

  

Experience/Skills 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field. 
  • Two or more years of relevant software development, embedded systems, networking, internship, co-op, or equivalent hands-on project experience. 
  • Proficiency in C/C++, Python, or similar languages, including scripting for system integration, test automation, and diagnostics. 
  • Working knowledge of TCP/IP networking and hands-on experience configuring and troubleshooting switches, routers, VLANs, addressing, DHCP, DNS, NAT, VPNs, and firewalls. 
  • Experience developing and debugging software in Linux environments; familiarity with system services, command-line tools, logs, package management, and network utilities. 
  • Experience with Git, issue tracking, code review, software configuration management, and disciplined release documentation. 
  • Experience with embedded hardware interfaces and protocols such as serial communications, USB, Ethernet, GPIO, I2C, SPI, or CAN is preferred. 
  • Experience with web-based user interfaces, REST APIs, data storage, telemetry, device management, or remote monitoring is preferred. 
  • Experience with Yocto, containerization, cross-compilation, CI/CD, or automated build and test pipelines is a plus. 
  • Knowledge of secure software development, system hardening, authentication, encryption, vulnerability remediation, and cybersecurity practices is preferred. 
  • Ability to use laboratory test equipment and troubleshoot integrated hardware/software systems, including intermittent field and manufacturing issues. 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, sound engineering judgment, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while working independently or as part of a cross-functional team.
